This book was a little different than my usual go to and, I didn’t hate it. I actually enjoyed the light hearted, cozy mystery kind of vibe. It was a very quick read, a perfect pallet cleanser for in between your more heavier reads .

I’m always a sucker for a city girl falling for a rugged mountain man. In this case is was an LA stylist, Delilah and a semi famous author who is also known around town as a total recluse. This information alone was enough to have me itching to dive into this book, but add in said city girl on the hunt for her missing sister, who is lost somewhere in the mountains… you just know this big grizzly lumberjack of a man won’t be able to stop himself from stepping in to lend a helping hand 😉

It was fun, it was funny, it was sweet, a little cheesy at times, but overall it was charming and heart warming.

Thank you Netgalley and Katie Ruggle for the ARC in exchange for my honest review!
